Fists of Rage


A new wave of protest rallies aparked by a spate of political killings involving political activists in the country.President Arroyo recently signed the bill abolishing the death penalty in the country and almost at the same time ordered the Philippine military to go on an all-out war against the communist New People's Army.

Struggling to be in school


School opens; We see faces of excited young freshmen who will be spending the first few days of high school life coping with the lack of classroom space.
President Arroyo in a statement denied that there is a serious shortage of classrooms in the Phillippines and publicly reprimanded her Secretary of Education for declaring just the opposite

As 50-70 kids are assigned to 1 class and placed inside a room halved to accomodate two classes instead of just one, some spillover onto the corridors barely being part of their classes.
